To modernize the entire country will involve mobilization of huge investments, manpower and expertise to get the massive infrastructure projects going-on. This also means challenges in sectors like Urban Planning, Healthcare, Transport, Finance, Child & Adult Education, Social Welfare, Agriculture, Horticulture, Water & sanitation & Environment among others. It is a daunting task as all these involve massive and complex projects, which necessities excellent project planning management and development skills. Hence a great need for organizations that have such expertise to find solutions to tackle these problems in a cost-effective manner. Om Gaura Sewa Samiti (OGSS) is one such leading inter-disciplinary Non-Government Organization (NGO) uniquely qualified to address this need. OGSS came into existence about 17 years ago to provide cost-effective development planning, consulting, capacity building, awareness, training and many more in academics, industry and the government. Over the years, the OGSS has successfully completed projects including UPDASP, UPBSN & World Bank funded organizations etc. The projects have spanned diverse areas such as fighting poverty, building democratic societies; protecting the environment, empowering women & farmers, health, child & adult education among others.

Organizational Setup, Resources & Infrastructure

OGSS society functions under the overall guidance of Management Council consisting of experienced professionals with proven track record both on the National & International levels. OGSS’s day-to-day activities are managed by a multidisciplinary core staff under the able guidance of a Organization’s President. OGSS has also project specific teams comprising central & zonal coordinators, trained multi-lingual field investigators & supervisors, backed by a national network of experienced consultants across disciplines. OGSS has excellent facilities at its State Office in Lucknow for computer based statistical analysis & evaluation, Database Management, Data Processing and Documentation.
